Custom under-stair storage
A bespoke storage cupboard under the stairs: from a cluttered nook to three tall doors and drawers that follow the slope of the staircase.
What we did
How the project came together
The space under the stairs was an unused nook that quickly filled with shoes and loose items. The homeowners wanted proper built-in storage without making the hallway feel smaller.
We measured the space carefully and built a cabinet that follows the diagonal line of the stairs: three tall doors above and three drawers below. During the build we protected the floor and worked step by step in the hallway.
The result is a clean, custom under-stair cupboard that calms the hallway and keeps everyday items out of sight — without feeling like a freestanding piece of furniture.
